Bending over backwards,
till she hears her back snap.
The grin slashing her face,
an odious mask.

On all fours she crawls.
The upside down smile never fading.

A dog on a leash.
Living to serve her master.

He snaps,
she barks.

He speaks,
she jumps.

All the while smiling,
Smiling
Smiling
Smiling

She says thank you,
for every task she’s given.
Just wanting to hear it back.

How disgustingly naive.
How ignorantly stupid.

Everyday the same.
Bending over backwards.
Always the one to blame.

All the while smiling,
Smiling
Smiling
Smiling
