You used to make me smile.

Barely saying a word.

I mourned for the love I felt was unrequited

I rejoiced in the happiness you gave

Your smile always brightened your eyes

I thought you could see me

Now I don’t even remember your name

Author’s Note:

I’ve always been the type to lose myself in a crush.  I can remember each of my childhood crushes, and just how long I liked them for.  Unfortunately, I have no clue who I wrote this poem for originally.
