I lived in darkness

And sang with the voice of shadows

Twisting and turning my prey with the melody

I bathed in their terror

Their fear, honey on my tongue

All they knew was the light

Their precious warmth

By the time my frost crept up their spine it was too late

Mine

I hiss in their ear

As they fall into the night

Mine
