Lauren Janis

I have always lived on the outskirts of Chicago. And by outskirts most of the time it’s so far away it’s barely considered the suburbs. But, if I said I lived in some place like Aurora (I don’t actually live in this town) peoples eyes would glaze over and they nod as if they know what I am talking about. Where, if I say I live outside of Chicago, there is a spark of recognition. Some common understanding that we may converse upon.

I have an associates degree in Graphic Design. One of the things I love to do in my free time is to take online lessons to keep up to date on new software features. The recent years have seen many new and improved software’s for designers. I love exploring all that these can offer.

My background is in customer service. I worked in retail for 5 years, and for a corporate company for 6. I am currently a full-time stay at home mother.

I started this site as a way to share my poetry. Since it began in February of 2020 it has evolved into so much more. I now am focusing on using my design degree to provide quality covers, at reasonable prices, for authors from every walk of life.

I hope to someday publish a book of my own as well!

Fun Fact: I have multiple pen names I use for writing and designing. Meek is the one I use for notebooks. It is an old family name. I love reading up on my family tree
